i finished garden of eden, my first max brand book. he had a special way of story telling, it was one of my best reads all year. will have to find some more to enjoy. thanks ,max / frederick.

I have read a lot of Max Brand.  But, the one that i just finished, thrilled me the most.  The White Wolf.  Max Brand has become, in essence a wolf as he tells this story.  It is magnificent.

Max Brand makes Louie L'amour look like a second rate author.  Louis tells the same story over and over with a few new twists.....Max Brand....what an imagination!!

My Dad got me to reading Max Brand somewherre around 13 years old. I believe one of the first books I read was the Slivertip series. Next was the Seventh Man. I have read almost everthing I could ever find and buy. I have lost track. They are the most wonderful books - almost another friend. Mr. Faust was a genious and had the most fantastic imagination. He was truly blessed by God with his talent and I am sure he has touched millions of people with his stories. He wanted to be a poet, but I think that I will always appreciate him as the very best western writer that this country or the world has ever known.
